Dr. Mike Lakota is passionate about providing expertise to his patients, and he offers the latest and best technology in dentistry.

Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Mike was a competitive college baseball player. His time as an athlete taught him how successful he could be through dedication, hard work, and training.

Since graduating from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1996, he’s completed hundreds of continuing education hours and continues to grow. Through his investments in knowledge and technology, Dr. Mike has evolved his practice far beyond treating cavities and gum disease.

Today, Dr. Mike and his amazing team are capable of treating a wide array of oral health issues including TMJ, plus performing some of the Chicago area’s best cosmetic dentistry.

He coaches his three boys in baseball, junior football, and basketball teams.

Dr. Lakota and his entire staff are absolutely fantastic!!! I was extremely nervous going in, but Daisy and Jayme made me feel very comfortable and reassured me that Dr Lakota is the BEST! He definitely is! Everything was thoroughly explained to me before, during, and after the whole process. All staff is very personable and makes you feel like you are a part of their office family. My procedure was completely painless, I didn't even feel the numbing shots go in. I highly recommend Dr Lakota! I am now looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing staff and experience. The Dr "knows knows" his stuff and will throughly explain what is going on with your teeth and what's causing the issues. He's my favorite Dr. I've been to thus far. I really appreciate how he talks to you and is realistic on the science and nature of one's teeth and not just selling his work. The girls up front are amazing and incredibly sweet as well. Always a great experience going there!

I wanted to give a big shout out to Lakota dental. They are very friendly and professional. They go out of their way to explain everything thorough so you get a good understanding of what they will be working on currently and for the future if it’s need it. Lastly love the TV in the room so of course I can watch my ESPN 🤷‍♂️

Amazing as always doctor Lakota got me in and out as fast as possible while taking care of my teeth and explaining my invisalign. Teeth are 100 percent perfect now thanks to him. I recommend this Lakota dental for everyone from children to adults. He makes all your appointments easy.
